CANCELLATIONS, AVAILABILITY, RETURNS, RESTOCK FEES & SHIPPING POLICIES
Once a contractual agreement has been established via issuance of a MECHANIDRIVE.COM Order Receipt it is considered full acceptance of the Buyer’s Purchase order either in writing, verbal or by other instrument of communication. The Order Receipt will be issued as confirmation of the Buyers Purchase order terms and requirements and at this point the ORDER MAY NOT BE CANCELLED without applicable restocking and processing fees. However, for items that have a status changed to BACKORDERED the customer may cancel the order and will receive a full refund so long as the notification is in writing to our Sales Department either via the order system available inside your account or by telephone or email. Whether product has been received or stocked by MECHANIDRIVE.COM or its vendors, manufacturers, etc…for orders that are considered “special”, meaning they are non-stocked at OUR warehouse, imported, brokered, or custom made components, or from a non-stocking facility there are NO CANCELLATIONS PERMITTED! Regardless of reason, the order once placed with MECHANIDRIVE.COM supplier, manufacturer or other vendor(s), the order is bound under the terms and conditions of the Order Receipt and MECHANIDRIVE.COM Terms and Conditions of Sale herein. As exclusion for special circumstances the buyer may cancel an order by mutual agreement by MECHANIDRIVE.COM Management based upon payment to of reasonable and proper cancellation charges.
Mechanidrive lists all product availability on each of its product pages. We list the ESTIMATED standard shipping as "Ships In" with the estimated business days to ship the product from one of our warehouses. For products that may not be in stock there will be a "Call for Availability" or the Add to Cart button wont be shown. From time-to-time we exasperate our stock and have to place items on back-order. Your order will have the status changed to BACK-ORDERED and you will receive a subsequent notification email stating such status changes. If you cannot wait for a back order we will do our best to offer another more available brand or product. Please note IF you order multiple brands from different warehouses we will always bring the products into our warehouse which may cause delays to minimize shipping costs. In cases of Free Shipping selection with the aforementioned scenario we will ALWAYS ship items as a consolidated single shipment. In cases whereby you do not advise on expedited shipments and we cannot get in contact with you as the buyer we reserve the right to substitute the most commonly available brand to get your products shipped quicker and without incurring multiple warehouse shipments and their associated costs. We state this policy at checkout and in order to checkout you must read it and check the " I accept" checkbox.
*IF you return products without an approved RMA we will not issue a refund whatsoever!*
*IF your product was installed, tested, dropped, scuffed, becomes dirty or any other signs of use or if the product doesn't meet the standards by which it was originally shipped you will cause a void in the product warranty rendering it unsaleable and non-returnable.
*Title passes onto you upon receipt.
A full exchange and refund will be granted for parts that are of New and Unused Condition without a restock fee within 5 days from shipment receipt for the following reasons:
1- Product is Defective from the manufacturer
2- Product is Damaged by the Carrier
3- Products will not be allowed a return without the restock fee for:
a) Incorrectly ordering the wrong parts
b) Engineering mistakes
c) Incorrect interchanges
d) Brand ordering mistakes
e) Incorrect measurements
f) Incorrect information given at the time of order to a sales rep
h) Finding products cheaper or sooner than listed on our site
i) Shipping errors or delays
j) Not reading product specifications or asking for further engineering assistance
k) Any other reason not listed above or outside the scope of Item 1 or Item 2 above
4- If you want to Request an RMA please use the preceding link and send as much detail as you can.
5- We require, at a minimum the following information prior to issuing an RMA
a) Images of your product as received with its marking
b) Images of any damage
c) Images of the original packing
d) Your tracking#
e) Reason for RMA request
f) Your order ID#
g) Your Name
h) The Mechanidrive SKU Number
i) The Manufacturers part number
6- Original shipping refunds are never allowed unless products are defective or damaged.
7- You are responsible for all return freight once an RMA is issued
8- Regardless of reason a complete RMA evaluation needs to be performed.
1- All returns that do not fall under Item 1 or item 2 from above will incur a 40% restock fee.
2- In certain instances, the restock fee may be waived for a replacement order of equal or greater value but it is the discretion of the company President.
3- Replacement orders must be of the SAME brand as the original order or the restock fee applies. We cannot lose money shipping products back to an initial warehouse and then order a part from a completely different warehouse for the replacement order. It will cause Mechanidrive to lsoe money on the order.
4- There are No Exceptions to this policy unless the company President authorizes.
Any claims, for whatever reason must be made within 15 days from shipment receipt, no exceptions. Returns for Buyer or Buyers Associations either shareholders or personnel’s miscalculations, incorrect engineering, typos, creative ideas for form, fit or function or ANY other reasons other than physically defective products ARE NOT accepted. Since our product maybe considered a substitution or equivalent product to another brand or product it is the Buyers responsibility to ensure that the interchanged products are acceptable for the form, fit and function of their intended usage. MECHANIDRIVE.COM is NOT under any conditions responsible for recalls, defects, injuries or other issues that arise from a customer requesting and accepting an interchange or equivalent product to a previously used or installed product. Orders that are accepted under a blanket or 12-month term are not cancelable for any reason without the customer paying the full price of the quoted and contracted material for all 12 months plus the restocking fees as stated below. Buyer shall not return goods without MECHANIDRIVE.COM prior written authorization and payment by Buyer of a restocking charge of 40%. Special order items are NOT subject to return. This is defined as any product that is not readily available, has to be modified, manufactured, reworked, cut to specification and/or is not easily accessible or resalable to other customers or suppliers. No returns regardless of reason shall be accepted 30 days after delivery.
NON-CANCELLABLE & NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS
Certain products fall under the category of non-cancellable and/or non-returnable products. We have outlined these product categories and any stipulations outside the standard Terms and Conditions of Purchase or Claims Policy below:
- Items that shipped to the buyer under a Free Shipping program. We cover this shipping to your facility and cannot recover this cost as a result.
- Items that are shipped LTL truck carrier.
- Items that are manufactured, modified, adjusted, resized or any other modification to a standard consumable product which may cause it to not be resold on the open market.
- Items that have been opened, installed, tested or other actions voiding the warranty or ability to resell the item as new and unused
- Shipping to a 3rd party
- Shipping outside the United States whether opened or not, used or new. There are no exceptions for this!
- Items that are stocked by Mechanidrive under Kanban or specified releases. You are responsible for the full inventory including any unshipped items.
- Contract manufactured products
- Items shipped to an incorrect address by the buyer.
- Old inventory that has not been used although it still may be new.
- Any parts that have been re-marked, re-labeled or their original packing has been modified
- Certain PARTS cannot be returned whatsoever. These include the following categories:
- Discount Bearings
- Gear Products
- Pulleys and Bushings
- Automotive Replacement Belts
- Gear Couplings
- Grid Couplings
- Roller Chain and Links
- Fasteners and Hardware
Mechanidrive ships all its products via UPS Small Package Services and through contractually discounted trucking carriers for LTL shipments that are heavier in weight (over 125lbs) or large in dimension that they wont fit into small packages. Prices stated are F.O.B. origin from Colorado Springs, CO, freight is prepaid to destination specified in the order. You can see our Shipping Programs Here. MECHANIDRIVE.COM may charge a shipping and handling fee (which includes internal handling and related costs), on each order which is applied at time of order and reflected on customer's invoice. When items are shipped from multiple locations the total shipping charges shown will be an accumulation from those shipping origins to the end users location and is based upon weight, size, dollar value, etc…
We ONLY ship within the Continental USA, Canada, US Virgin Islands, Hawaii and Mexico and some parts of Europe. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
MECHANIDRIVE.COM will always insure and charge for delivery notifications especially when a residential delivery is required. Rates for residential deliveries are higher than commercial deliveries. MECHANIDRIVE.COM will not assume what type of delivery location they are shipping to. It is the customers’ responsibility to forward that information during checkout. All mistakes made during checkout by the customer and all associated costs (e.g. miss-delivery charges, wrong address charges, etc..) are the responsibility of the customer even after the initial transaction. Receipts for shipping and handling charges will not be furnished. COD shipments are not permitted. 3rd Party Billing is not permitted. Other terms and conditions may apply for other than standard ground delivery ("Other Freight Services"), including without limitation, expedited same day delivery, air freight, freight collect, export orders, hazardous materials, customer's carrier, shipments outside the contiguous U.S. or other special handling by the carrier. Any charges incurred for Other Freight Services must be paid by customer. Fuel surcharges may be applied. Title and risk of loss pass to customer upon tender of shipment to the carrier. If the product is damaged in transit, customer's only recourse is to file a claim with the carrier.
