Carbide Drill Bits

Carbide drills are the toughest and fastest hole cutting tools in the world.  Their core hardened surface allows for faster more precise cutting with less lubrication and maintenance.  They are typically y used on large volume machining jobs that require higher speed revolutions and time periods between change-outs of tooling during production runs.  Like standard steel drills they are used to pilot through holes in a large range of materials like carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and plastics to name a few. Depending on the type they can run at extreme speeds without regular maintenance in CNC machines, drill presses and woodworking applications. Their drill tip styles vary in point angles, cut lengths, head shapes and coatings to increase performance and overall tool life. Drill styles include: carbide XD coolant types, 2-flute, 3-flute and multi flute lengths, countersink drill points, spade shape drills, screw machine lengths and CNC spotting types. Carbide drills are available in individual metric and inch sizes for every possible combination of pattern and size.
