Couplings

Protect your equipment with precision machined couplings from Mechanidrive.  We offer the most common types of power transmission couplings for many operations and environments.  Steel Gear Couplings have triple crowned teeth at the root, tip and face to allow free movement while minimizing wear and misalignment.  Steel gear couplings come on G20 double engagement closed coupled types and G52 single engagement closed coupled types.  Grid Style couplings or Tapered Grid Couplings have been the most common industry standard for nearly 100 years.  They are durable and have a versatile design and proven performance in many applications. Jaw Couplings are the industries largest selling type of hub type coupling.  They offer the most variety of bore and key-way combinations for nearly every shaft size and use a Spider (SOX) Insert in many materials to keep components from having part-on-part torque damage. They don't require lubrication and provide excellent service for light, medium and some heavy duty power transmission and electrical motor applications.  Likewise Universal Joint Couplings are mostly pin and block joint designs except for needle bearing types of u-joints.  The coupling assembly has a yoke shape that offers a high strength free moving unit making it ideal for hand operated drive systems and corrosive environments.  U-Joints provide a wide range of bore sizes for many different shaft accommodations.  Mechanidrive stocks one of the largest inventories of power transmission and electrical motor couplings to get you up and running immediately!
