Mechanidrive offers the most complete line of deep groove ball bearings. Single-row deep groove ball bearings are the most common type of rolling bearings. Their design is made up of a single row of perfectly ground uniform steel balls presses between steel cages with a loading notch to add or remove the balls. Single row deep groove ball bearings or radial ball bearings are used in applications from small hand tools, skateboards, drum pedals, electrical motors to industrial machinery like automated packing equipment and conveyors. Single row ball bearings are manufactured using pressed steel cages in smaller sizes and machined brass are used for high speed application and large bore sizes. They are manufactured in either C3 with tighter clearance tolerances or standard C0 clearances which may overlap the C3 tolerances but offer a broader spectrum of internal clearance. Single row ball bearings offer an optional plain/round outside diameter or a steel groove snap ring. Mechanidrive offers the most common styles of seal enclosures in the industry. Open type bearings are unsealed and have nothing to protect the balls and races from debris and contaminants. This is common in operations where frequent grease is required and dirt and debris isn’t a concern. Sealed bearings come in either steel shields or rubber seals which are installed on one or both sides and are prelubricated with bearing grease so additional applications are very infrequent.
